i've been fascinated by this project ever since i discovered it, and i find that it's a great example of packaging being just as important as the sound itself. the cover is this slightly low-resolution image of this very pretty and endless looking field. on a surface level, this is immediately reminiscent of that one windows xp wallpaper, but it's also so much more than that, right? to me, everything about this is the perfect representation of Digital Trash, and the perfect representation of how dizzyingly huge the internet actually is. it perfectly evokes the sense of infinity you get by thinking about the pools and pools of data lurking within the net, the bits and pieces of random people's lives uploaded every day, and the fact that no one person will ever be able to sift through it all.

the titles also perfectly reflect this, each one is just filled with amazon-esque keyword vomit and i love all of them dearly. fun fact, the immediate first word of the first title (nemophila) is actually the exact breed of flower that can be found on the cover! this to me proves there is indeed intentionality here. it might all look like nonsense but i can assure you that there was a hell of a lot of skill involved in making these titles look as perfectly Spammy as they do. it is composed from top to bottom and yet it's actively trying to convince you that it's not.
